Like Celeste, Nuclear Blaze also offers fine-grained difficulty settings, allowing players to customize some of the rules to suit their needs. There is no easy or hard mode, but the default settings can be considered quite hard.

"Nuclear Blaze started as a small project for the Ludum Dare game jam. It was created in 48 hours and received a lot of positive feedback and universal support :)
My original intention was to make a game that my three year old son could play: he´s a big fan of firefighters. Obviously, the game became more and more difficult and quickly proved too difficult for him. Then I decided to add a special "Children´s Mode."

Kid´s Mode is a special mode in the game designed for young players and has certain rules:

- Special levels that are easy to explore
- Impossible to die
- Endless water
- Water auto-aim
- Simplified management
- Helicopters and trucks are everywhere because kids love them!
